Maltese Falcon
One of the major projects of 2004 was acting as production manager on the carbon fibre mast/rig system of the spectacular Maltese Falcon. As the world's largest privately owned, sailing yacht, this 268' clipper has an abundance of innovative technical solutions, developed by Perini Navi, due to which it is possible to raise modern square sails on its impressive carbon fibre masts. The production of these truly huge masts was carried out at the Perini Navi yard in Istanbul, Turkey.
